Exploring Parenting
Parenting after an unplanned pregnancy can feel overwhelming, but it can also be deeply rewarding. You may wonder how you will manage financially, where you will live, or how to continue school or work.
These concerns are real, but you do not have to figure everything out alone. At Ohana Health, we provide free and confidential services to help you identify what resources you need and build a plan that works for you and your child.
Questions Worth Considering
Before making a decision, it can help to reflect on essential questions:
- What kind of support network do I have or need to build?
- How can I continue pursuing my education or career goals while raising a child?
- What resources will I need to feel confident in this role?
- What excites me most about becoming a parent?
- What questions do I need answered?
You don’t need every answer immediately. Our client advocates will help you explore these questions and identify resources to meet your specific needs.
